Submit an Abstract
The WIC APAC Young Investigator Awards (YIA) recognize outstanding research contributions from early-career scientists in the field of cancer immunotherapy.
All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters; selected abstracts may be invited for oral presentation.
Eligibility
- To qualify for the WIC APAC 2026 Young Investigator Travel Award (YIA), the abstract author must:
- Be a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher within 6–8 years of training who is not yet independent.
- Be an early-career investigator in training or at the start of their academic career.
- CV should be submitted prior to review.
- Serve as both the primary author and presenting author on the abstract.
Selection CriteriaAbstracts will be evaluated based on:
- The quality of the research and its presentation
- The strength and rigor of the results and methods
- Whether the reported research makes a significant contribution to advancing the field
Presentation Opportunities
Young investigators submitting an abstract to WIC APAC 2026 will have the opportunity to present their work, with poster presentations displayed throughout the two-day conference and oral presentations featured during the Young Investigator Symposium on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Oral Presentation Details
Authors selected for an oral presentation will present during the Young Investigator Symposium on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 8:50 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (session time is subject to change). Each presentation will be 10 minutes in length, followed by 3–5 minutes of questions and answers. Oral presenters must be capable and comfortable presenting their research to a large international audience and responding to questions during the discussion period. The duration of Q&A may vary depending on the final number of presenters; please refer to the official notification from the organizing committee for updated information.
